Just a quick update:
Daughter Bird is home in her own nest.
We have some hurdles to overcome before she can return to work, and things settle back into a "routine."
I am so deeply grateful for her support network, which worked spectacularly well even when the healthcare system did its very best to thwart those efforts.
Thank you for YOUR support, as I attempt to remain in the background so she can be the driver of her own bus...
It isn't easy, but I learned a long time ago to just focus on ten minutes at a time. No "big picture" or long term thinking when there is a difficult patch. Just this precious ten minutes in front of me, and once that is accomplished, on to the next.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday, friends, filled with moments of exquisite joy, even in the midst of an emotional storm.

I am knitting along in solidarity with folks who have been sharing their experience of racism and exclusion in the fiber arts community. I hope you'll join in the campaign for INCLUSION.
See the posts by dawn.landix on IG for more information if you want to raise your hand in solidarity.
