Many years ago, my youngest brother gave me a small card with the words
*Expect A Miracle*
on it.
I taped it to my computer at the time, and it became a mantra of sorts for me.
Now, more than ever, I am expecting a MIRACLE.
My sister has been diagnosed with Stage Three Cancer.
She is an extremely private person, so there will not be any personal details beyond that, except where she gives me express permission to share.
Those of you who know me well, know that I am the Therapeutic Listener.
It is a hat I wear proudly, both personally and professionally.
The BEE Happy Farm project has been successful, and I have attained the goals I set for myself with regards to my clients and my personal *give back* campaign. Privacy laws prevent me from sharing those success stories, but know that all of my clients signed job contracts in this most difficult of economic times to be looking for a job.
The Farm itself is currently in negotiations for sale. While this is a difficult transition for all involved, I believe strongly that this is in the highest and best use of both the property and the goals of the owners/investors.
I have given all that I can give, to the point of total exhaustion, in the form of my time, my energy, my emotional and financial commitment. I will not even break even at the end of the day, but I am satisfied that I have done what I set out to do.
BEE Happy Farm will remain my project, and I will devote time and energy to it when my other obligations have been met.
As part of the transition, I sent out a personal plea to the Universe for useful, productive work for MYSELF. I was looking for creative work with bright, interesting people who were ethical and intelligent.
I had an interview, and was subsequently offered a 30 day contract for a research position. I am a week into that contract and I have to say I LOVE the work. I admire the people I work for and with. I am able to ask my favorite question:"What can I do right now that will help you the most?" and get an immediate response.
I would very much like to report that I have been offered the position permanently, so stayed tuned for news in that department.
Please send all forms of positive energy, prayer, and laughter to my sister right now. She has another test on Tuesday afternoon to determine the course of action with her Oncology team.
I am, as always, Expecting a Miracle.
Namaste.
