Today would have been my Daddy's birthday.
I tried to keep really REALLY busy to keep from bursting into tears....
I went to a Prayer Shawl meeting at the church of the Holy Family.
Knit for an hour with red sparkly yarn, as his favorite image as HE was dying
was Dorothy's red shoes.....
I fussed over the doggies.
I mailed the baby package.
I went with the Garden Club to Plant Delights Nursery,
home of the amazing and hilarious Tony Avent
and his stupendous plant collection, including greenhouses (PLURAL)
filled with these beauties.
As I snapped this photo, I knew my Dad would have loved it.
