End of the year wrapup...

I love making lists of what I've accomplished...
so much more fun
than those pesky
TO DO lists!

I'm proud to say that 2006
has been a year of great
progress for my birds
and I am finally able
to see my part
as productive.

We're in a really good place
right now,
we three.

Calm, happy,
content with less STUFF
and more JOY.

Peace of mind
and eight hours sleep
three nights in a ROW...

I'm BLESSED
indeed.

You'll excuse me, now
won't you?

I've resolutions to make for 2007!

Nested

The Boybird is back in his NEST,
fortified with Bagels and lay's Wavy chips
and all of the classic Disney Silly Symphonies
cartoons he wished for from Santa!
We had a marvellous holiday,
the best EVER,
really.

Daughter bird and I went this morning
to Vocational Rehabilitation
to start the paperwork
so she can have a job coach when she
moves in to HER own NEST.

Another check mark on
the LIST
of things to be accomplished!

Here's hoping the New Year
holds great joy
and much PEACE
for ALL....

A little bit of Actual Knitting!

The *buzzy box* (as Gina so affectionately calls the
Magic machine that makes me feel ALL better for hours at a
time)...has made it possible for me to Knit a Little!
Yay!
Sanity is restored...

Warm hands...

How cool is THIS?
Obsessed by knitted mittens, I am,
but today promises to break
an old record (1933 I do believe)
with temperatures between 70 and 75
degrees F.
I am not complaining...it is lovely
doggie walking weather
and my hand hurts MUCH less
when it is WARM...
but getting into the Holiday spirit,
not.so.much.
sigh.

I should NOT be giggling

but I simply cannot help myself.
Dog #1 is barking HYSTERICALLY
because Dog #2 has *unstuffed*
the very favorite hedgehog tpy
which Dog #1 carries with him
on walks to keep from barking.
giggle.
oh, sorry.
I'm so easily amused it is ridiculous.
Before I fall asleep I shall be doing hedgehog
surgery.
Must.stop.giggling.

The trip to the Bookstore with the birds
was pretty funny, too.
Daughter had a 30% off coupon and a gift card,
Boybird had a DVD coupon and a DVD,
but they both needed ME
to flash my Border's Reward Card
before they could cmplete their transactions.
Yeah, quipped the Daughter bird
to the cashier, we need her to DRIVE us everywhere, too.
Tee.Hee.

AND...I simply LOVE the
*I want a hippopotamus for Christmas* song
which,well...
just makes me GIGGLE.

The Daughter bird was picked up at school.
We drove 2 hours home,
had Mexican for lunch.
She unpacked, and then
wanted to go Straight to the Library
for the afternoon.
Tee.Hee.
Tomorrow we will pick up her
Brother after work and go to
the Bookstore,
of course.
