Doze wascally wabbit slippers are making me WACKY.
I'm nearly finished with the first one,
hopefully I'll have PICTURES
tomorrow.
I have learned several important things from this
project:
1) The fabric produced by combining the Lamb's Pride Worsted
and the la Gran Mohair is EXTREMELY pink and fuzzy.
2) It is not to be used while wearing black. Can you spell
Lint Roller? I thought that you could!
3) Crochet does not felt the same way as Knitting does,
and takes MUCH longer (for ME) to produce.
4) We have a NUMBER of EXCELLENT crocheters in our area.
Why was I the one suckered into chosen for this project?
Because none of THEM could get gauge (either)!
5) Writing/editing/selling books is not for sissies. There is a lot of the process that is
Totally Out of (your) Control.
6) The slippers WILL be finished and delivered in time to be worn to the book signing.
7) Next time, though, I will KNIT them.
8) Yup. Extreme cuteness demands that there will indeed be, a Next Time.
See you tomorrow, I got me some wabbit ears to crochet!
OH, and how cute is THIS?
