I'm taking an altered art/book class
and LOVING it!
Here's a page that fits right in with
Project Spectrum:
(excuse the flash bounce, please....there is NO Natural Light to speak of today.)
I LOVE this class mostly for the two hours we spend around two card tables pushed together
in the back of the (very independent woman-owned) bookstore.
It is like a VACATION for me.
Time to just PLAY with someone else's Art Supplies
and chit chat about every subject under the sun.
No critiques, no grades,
no (shudder) gallery managers.....
We even get to Liberally Sprinkle GLITTER!
Which ALMOST makes up for the project from *h-e-double toothpicks*
that has been sucking up all of my freetime for the past
TWO WEEKS.
GAH.
I'm crocheting the bunny slippers from That New Book
for the bookshop owner to wear at the book signing next week.
I gotta say,
the pattern is COMPLETELY wrong.
Nobody can get gauge
and there are obvious *not checked* errors....
like a row that begins with ch 1 and ends with slip stitch in 3rd st of ch3....
RRRRRRIP!
Ripping mohair aint no fun,
but I am DETERMINED to finish these
stupid ADORABLE slippers
and wait for the extensive errata.
sigh.
Nothing like having to rewrite an entire pattern
to make me want to SELL the book,
eh?
