That's what I get for trying to spread a little SPRINGtime...
along comes the freezing rain and sleet again.
Sigh.
The good news is that it is PERFECT Knitting Weather!
Dear daughter is "letting her mind unwind"
happily doing puzzle books,
listening to her CD player
and really RELAXING.
I should have pictures of the
FINISHED red thread socks
(Take three, version Two, for those of you keeping track of the updates...)
tomorrow,
and I just have to say....
Wendy's toe up pattern has
really been a JOY to knit.
Sunday would have been my Daddy's birthday...
so daughter and I went to an AMAZING
worship service....
I lit a candle for him,
and one for Vashi, and Sara cat
and a few for peace and justice
for ALL.
It was easier this year, just a few tears,
and a lot of great memories.
I know that he is oh so proud of
Me and my College Girl....
I'm going to save a seat for him at her upcoming
Awards Ceremony for Academic Honors.
Hope your Monday has a moment of JOY!
Blessings to you and yours,
as ALWAYS.
PEACE be with you.
thanks greta - i was so looking forward to spring...guess i will have to wait a bit longer, at least your weather is not the snow that is predicted to start any minute here...hope you had a nice knitting day, mine is scheduled for tomorrow.
