I'm back from MSWF...earlier than I had hoped to be, but I still got a WHOLE DAY, and WOW! Ten years of waiting and planning and hoping were SO worth it. We're under a thunderstorm/tornado warning so I have to keep this short, but PICTURES tomorrow, okay? You won't bee-lieve who I got to meet! Jump up and down and squeal is usually not my style, but I gotta confess I did it ALL day, running to HUG somebody who I KNEW...but in actual real life, 3D...wow! I WAS WITH MY TRIBE!
I'll just mention that I have never in my life been in the company of so many fabulous, wonderfully talented, beautiful, NICE women....and we were surrounded by gorgeous animals and amazing fiber and OMG...it will take me a month or so to process it all.
We drove seven hours to get to the Daughter's College visit....an absolutely beautiful campus with a very strong program...now the paperwork begins! Another six hours to get to Maryland, but as soon as I drove in to the parking lot and saw my best friend and her daughter jumping up and down and waving and crying, I forgot all about how long the drive had been and just how HAPPY I was to actually BE There.
Next year I'm going for ALL the days! Just thinking about it makes me GRIN.
Best bumper sticker of the Festival? "HONK IF YOU GET GAUGE!"
Yipes, Thunder and lightning have started...better shut this puppy down!
I am so happy and yet sooooo jealous that you had a wonderful time. I'm hoping next year will be the charm for me. I can't wait to hear who all you met up with and what all you bought.

For some reason, the temper tantrum I just threw did the trick ;). I was able to listen to my messages! Loved hearing your voice, and Christy's. Thank you so much for calling :)

"Honk if you get gauge" is the BEST.
