Here is the beginning of the Sonnet. I hope you will forgive me this VERY obscure reference. The color is as close as anything to a certain Porsche in my Past....so methinks the moniker for diese sweater shall be "Ferdinand". For those of you obsessed with following a reference to a visual closure....Google Porsche 356. In certain circles (well ovals, actually) these are known as bathtubs....
So now you know.

Actually, that yarn is awfully close to the color of the real life bathtub in the house we're buying. Lovely for yarn. Scary for tubs. (Can you say "renovation"? I was wondering if you'd snuck into the new place for a peek when I read your title and saw that color. :)

Giggle..I CAN say renovation...I've been at it over ten years with this house...and my bathtub and sink downstairs are still PURPLE :)

I love purple! Please don't change that bathroom until I see it IRL. Finally linked the Gatewood painting and it was interesting to note the evolution of her work, since all I'd seen before was done earlier.
Can you tell use what yarn that is, exactly?

that's awfully brash of me, ain't it, inviting myself over, and right into the 'loo!

Okay, at the virtual PJ party, I want a virtual bathroom tour, too! Ferdi's going to be great in that color, dear.

The yarn is Popsical blue (color #148)Cotton ease..bought at the big Michael's clearance sale..I was going to do the sitcom chic with chickami underneath, but now I think it's gonna be a twin turbo set :)
When we have the PJ party I'll post pics of the wacko PURPLE bathroom...you won't believe it...I used to go on the tours of the Winchester Mystery house...those vibes musta stuck on me...

Oh how lovely! I wondered when you were going to start the Sonnet. How is your back and neck by the way? Hope you are doing better.

I love the Winchester house! Would you go there in a boat? Would you go there with a goat? How about a Gib? :)
I've been wanting to make Sonnet, and now you've pushed me right over the starting edge. Thank you!
Side note: each time I see Lillium's name my warped brain sees "Lithium"...
