When the Science Editor emailed to say that she read my blog post about the Magic Cicada hatch, I had a VERY Geekygirl moment....
The SCIENCE editor.
sigh.
She wanted to know if I'd be willing to do an interview...
well, OF COURSE!
I answered the phone at the appointed time, and told her I was going to put her on Speaker and then step outside so she could HEAR the song of the Magic Cicadas....
It was SO amazing to be able to share it, and we had a lovely chat, and TODAY....
I'm in the PAPER and on page 3A in the print version.

Well, I'm obviously way behind the times reading blogs (again!) These are AMAZING photos! Congrats on being picked up by USA Today - what a cool thing. I'm off to follow the link and read the article.
